Finish in the Pink

An easy classic is the old time favourite Finish in the Pink which for me is full of nostalgia to old school nights in Pitcher & Piano.

2oz Vodka

4 oz of a fruity Rose Wine

2oz apple juice 

Strawberries

Muddle about 4-5 large Strawberries in the mixing glass,

Pour in the ingredients and shake over ice.

Pour into your martini glass and garnish with a strawberry.

A summery and light taste that is fruity and satisfyingly alcoholic without knowing it!...be careful on these!

Bramble Cosmopolitan

A delicious, thick, moody looking drink perfect for those who love the classic cosmo but want to sweet it up a bit with a blast of fruit.

Chuck a few ice cubes in your mixer

squish up a few blackberries - the more you use the thicker it will be- but genrally about 8 largish blackberries.

Once pummeled, add 2oz of Vodka

2oz cointreau or Triple sec

1oz lime cordial 

and SHAKE!

Strain the cocktail into a martini glass to about a third full, top up with cranberry juice.

garnish with a few blackberries and a piece of lime.

Blackcurrent Cosmopolitan

I start with my own take on the Cosmopolitan as it has been my favourite drink since forever.

This version is a delicious thick and satisfying drink with a sweet bitter sting of blackcurrent with delicate undertones of cranberry and lime.

To start, ice your favourite martitni glass and chuck some ice in your mixer.

Grab a handful of blackberry's and crush in the glass.

add 2oz of Vodka

2oz of Cointreau 

For this occasion is used 1oz of Lime cordial as I didnt have any fresh limes... if you are prepared, unlike me(!) use the juice of a lime as it give a fresher taste.

Slap together in the mixer and shake hard!

get the strainer and pour into the glass half full topping up with cranberry juice.
